Bloomsburg Downs Kutztown In Men's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG--Eric Moninghoff's (Upper Black Eddy/Palisades) first half goals turned out to be the game's only goal as Bloomsburg University downed Kutztown University, 1-0, on Saturday.

With the teams locked in a scoreless battle, Moninghoff scored off a Trevor Dubensky (Milford/Delaware Valley) assist at the 35:42 mark of the first half. From there, the Huskies' defense kept the Golden Bears off the scoreboard with goalie David Leiendecker (Easton/Easton) making four saves.

Bloomsburg, 2-9-1, 2-8-1 in the PSAC, will host New York Tech on Sunday in a non-conference game at 1 p.m.
